Starts with Happy Hour on Friday night, then Saturday night dinner/dance, then Sunday Brunch. The Marriott Residence Inn in Plainview, Long Island is giving us a discounted rate of $145 per night for Double, Queen or King Suites. Happy Hour on Friday is $25.00 per person, Saturday night dinner/dance is $125.00 per person, and Sunday Brunch is $21.00 per person. Register to contact | WHY NOT HOST A HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI REUNION FOR THE ENTIRE BUSHWICK HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS., SOME OF US ARE NOT HERE ANYMORE,AND I THINK IT WILL BE A GREATER REUNION THAN JUST A CLASS REUNION, MY HUSBAND SCHOOL HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL REUNION EVERY TWO YEARS; BUT THE CLASS WHO 50TH YEAR IS UP THAT CLASS THEN HAVE A CERTAIN TABLE RESERVED, LIKE THE CLASS OF 1968 IS DO FOR THEIR 45 TH REUNION, THEY CAN DO A SPECIAL PROGRAM HONORING THEIR 45 YEARS., AND YET THE ENTIRE SCHOOL WILL BE THER TO CELEBRATE. Register to contact | I have started this process but the details may change later. The 1971 class reunion will be held at the Marriott Courtyard on Ditmars Blvd. across from LaGuardia airport. Friday at noon we plan to visit Bushwich HS. One of the principals has agreed to give us a tour of the school. Later Friday night there will be a social/mixer at the hotel with a cash bar. Saturday we will attend a pro baseball game (Mets or Yanks) and Saturday night there will be a dressy dinner/dance at the hotel. Sunday we will host a breakfast from 9am to 12pm. I am working out the cost for all the activities so stay tuned. Ana Gomez, Pilar Figueroa, Chet Phillips and John Bonapart are assisting so far. More alumni are invited to participate, just email me. JUST IMAGINE 30 YEARS LATER GETTING TO SEE PEOPLE THAT YOU CARE AND LOVE BEFORE IS UNDISCRIVABLE SUCH A FEELING YOU ONLY GET WHEN YOU SEE ANGELS ,..... IT WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL TIME THAT THOSE 8 HOURS WE WERE TOGETHER WENT BY SO FAST THAT WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE THE BALLROOM BUT IT WAS TIME TO GO AND MOST OF US WITH TEARS ON OUR EYES DEPARTURE TO OUR DESTINATION BUT WE LEFT SOMETHING BEHING THAT WILL LIVE FOR EVER, THESE FELLOW STUDENT THAT A LONG TIME AGO WERE MY FRIENDS DIDN'T CHANGE ONE BIT MAYBE IN SIZE AND A COUPLE MORE RINKLES AND GRAY HAIR BUT STILL WITH THE SAME WARMTHNESS HEARTED FEELING THAT ONCE USED TO WALK IN THE HALLWAYS OF BUSHWICK HIGH SCHOOL,....
